Artist's/band's artistic biography

The Wielkopolska Polish Dance Club is an artistic and educational organization dedicated to promoting traditional Polish national and regional dances in a contemporary, stage-based form. The club brings together young dancers, instructors, choreographers, and enthusiasts of Polish culture — both amateurs and professionals. The group actively participates in the national Polish Dance Tournament movement, held under the patronage of the Polish Section of CIOFF®. Its dancers regularly compete in Polish Dance Tournaments in ballroom form, achieving recognition in various age and skill categories. The club takes part in national qualifiers, the Polish Dance Cup, and prestigious events such as the “Laur Mazowsza” National Polish Dance Tournament. In addition to competition activity, the Club produces stage performances, workshops, and original choreographic projects, combining elements of folk, contemporary, and physical theatre. It is deeply committed to preserving and reinterpreting Polish dance traditions, presenting them through a modern, expressive lens. The Wielkopolska Polish Dance Club collaborates with cultural institutions, universities, and local authorities. It actively engages in dance education for children, youth, and adults, developing not only technical skills but also a deep appreciation for Poland’s cultural heritage.
