Body little Body

Seven bodies on stage. Bodies, bodies, bodies. We move... We seek a conversation about what touches us... About maturation, a new body, the cycle of life, freedom and agency... Our future. No matter how we imagine it, it will still surprise us. The performance was created in a joint process with young artists. It tries to implement the ideas of participation and equal creation.

KOLEKTTACZ is formed by Aniela Kokosza and Paulina Giwer - Kowalewska. The artists have combined their areas of interest and many years of experience in working in the spaces of dance, theatre, education, and social work. The collective uses tools derived from contemporary dance techniques, improvisation, and somatic bodywork practices. Its activities are directed to children, families, groups at risk of social exclusion, participants with special needs, people with refugee experience and in the homeless crisis. Over the 5 years of its activity, the collective has implemented almost 50 projects - performances, workshops, residencies, meetings. Scholarship holder of the Somatische Akademie in Berlin, the National Institute of Music and Dance, the Body/Mind Foundation, the Art Station Foundation by G. Kulczyk, the Mayor of Gdańsk, the Mayor of Poznań. She works as an independent creator, operating on the border of dance, performance arts and body sciences. In cooperation with Iza Chlewińska, she experiences and co-creates the Intibag Method. She works with dance students at the Poznań Academy of Physical Education. In 2020, she founded Kolekttacz. Paulina Giwer- Kowalewska: actress, performer, educator. Graduate of AST im. S. Wyspiański in Kraków - Department of Dance Theatre in Bytom. Actress in performances: "blisko" (Children's Art Centre), "Tu mieszkamy" (Art Fraction Foundation/ Animation Theatre) and "Frajda Granda Bzik" (Art Fraction Foundation/ Kolekttacz), which are presented at the most important festivals in Poland and abroad. Coordinator of artistic events in cultural centers. She works as an independent creator, conducting original workshops for families, for groups with various needs. Since 2020, she has been co-creating Kolekttacz. I work with Intibag sensory objects, deepening my knowledge of the Intibag Method. Young artists (8-13 years old) participating in contemporary dance and improvisation classes at the Youth Culture Centre No. 2 in Poznań, led by Aniela Kokosza, and workshops for families organised by Kolekttacz.
