Kaleidoscope

Description

Kaleidoscope is a poetic dance performance about constant change. Scope in English means instrument of seeing, from the Greek skopein — to look at, to examine. In turn, kalsos is translated from Greek as beautiful and eidos means form. Trying to build a living instrument for the participants/viewers to look at, the performers attempt to show various changes taking place in the body over the course of life. They are expressed in different forms and their beauty is perceived differently. Using their own experiences they build subsequent choreographies and then deconstruct them in front of the audience. The message is supported by original costumes and lighting. The search for a beautiful form allows you to look at the body and its capabilities from a different perspective. Kaleidoscope is a game driven by curiosity, surprising and unique. Turn off your mind Relax and float down stream It is not dying It is not dying Lay down all thoughts Surrender to the void It is shining It is shining ... The premiere of the performance is co-financed by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of its own program Choreographic Orders 2023, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
