Description
"Salvador Delulu" is a performance inspired by the Spanish artist Salvador Dalí, his creative method and his paintings. To increase his creativity, Dalí used a specific dream technique. Using a bowl and a key, the artist would wake up in the early phase of sleep to transfer his surreal visions onto canvas. Salvador described his work as "paranoid-critical" and tried to create images that disrupted the logical order of reality. These were often grotesque visions, on the border of reality, dream, fantasy, hallucination, removed from rationalism. "Salvador Delulu" is therefore a movement embodiment of the artist's character and work, and at the same time of our dreams and delusions that have turned into a choreographic structure.
