Beautiful world

Description

How do social models shape our behavior and identity? In the performance „Beautiful World”, social relationships and structures collide with the natural order, represented by the four elements. The choreography, performed by Agnieszka Brzezińska, Patryk Jarczok, and Zuzanna Nir, portrays this clash and its consequences — constant transformation, creative force, but also friction, tension, and destruction. The performance was created during a residency for professional contemporary dance groups, held as part of the 17th Gdańsk Dance Festival in Poland. The work was developed under the mentorship of Judith Schoeneveld - a dramaturge affiliated with the Dutch contemporary dance company Ivgi&Greben.
