Description

In the future, our food will taste different and our cats will be fatter. There will be more different itemsmore work and unicorns. Fairy tales, appetite, poop and the number on the cake will also be bigger. And the children will be bigger, and they will be they could go out on their own. There will also be new people. There will be disappearing and appearing. And goodbye to my family.There will be something ahead (and it may come very soon). And I don't know how many other thingsproblems and pleasures. But something will happen. ( Collection of thoughts Performers Families about the future) What grows as we grow? How will our immediate surroundings, relationships and everyday life change in the future? In the choreographic project "It grows and grows, and..." topics related to growth and change will be addressed by a child-adult team of performers who are part of the group Anna Wantuch andPerforming Families. Reflection on the future has the character of a movement action on stage. This way they will be exploredtopics such as social relationships, changing bodies, as well as economics. In selected parts of the showpeople in the audience will be invited to actively join the activities proposed by the performers.

Artist's/band's artistic biography

Anna Wańtuch Choreographer i performer. Philosophy Graduate and Film Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Participant of many coursesand workshops in Poland and abroad. Certified teacher of the Contakids method. She completed the Sherborne Developmental Movement course (1st degree), PINK Training Segni Mossi and the Instructor Qualification Course specializing in Contemporary Dance. ​ Resident at Residance 2022 in Bratislava organized by PLAST organizationat the Dance Residential Center Telocvičňa. She was qualified for the choreographic program ATLAS at the ImPulsTanz Festival in 2021 in Vienna, where she began working on performance Mothersuckers: A production about reproduction concerning the issue of motherhood. A resident of Dance Moves Cities, an international project co-organized by Krakow Reminiscences theatrical. Participant of the Dramaturgy Forum with Christine de Smedt, organized by the Institute of Music and Dance. ​ A scholarship holder of the Alternative Dance Academy 2018 and 2019, implemented by the Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk. Scholarship holder of the City of Krakow 2020. 964A0384.jpg In the years 2009-2011, a dancer of the Court Ballet "Cracovia Danza", and in the years 2003-2014 a soloist of the Dance Theater DF. In her works, she deals with the visibility of motherhood and parental themes. She is the author of a series of video performancesMOT/HER CC in which she observed bodily changes during pregnancy. She presented the latter work at the Parallel Festival in Vienna, at the Cracow Art Week KRAKERS festival and many others. This work was shortlisted for the only international competition for caring artists, the Mother Art Prize, and was shown at a group exhibition in London in March 2023. ​ Willingly engages in group initiatives. She took part in the group exhibition Mother Earth at BWA Wrocław. Participant of the Grand ReUnion project, in which she took part in the online performance Tender Hotel (initiative: Rivca Rubin) and a virtual sound installationSomaPark(authors: Joanna Leśnierowska and Patryk Lichota). Together with Maria Kwiecień, she is the co-author of an interactive performance for one viewerWords to dance. ​ Together with her husband, Filip Wańtuch, she explores the aspects of the interpenetration of what is private with what is public, as well as the threads of everyday life and home space. MOT/Her KCas well as in the photo projectLovers,in which they remix images of lovers from famous paintings, "putting" them into their bodies and the space of their own home. ​ Since 2012, she has been experimenting with the movement of an adult with a child as part of performancesPostnatal Project.In 2015, she took part with her family in the Warsaw versionfamily affairZimmer Frei group. She works in workshops with families, conducting guest classes with the Contakids method and dance improvisation. As part of the Creative Scholarship of the City of Krakow, she worked on her own format of choreographic performance with the participation of families with young childrenContact Families Show,which was then presented as part of the 23rd BiennaleArts for Children in Poznań.
