During the Spring Forward Festival, organized by the Aerowaves network, whose 2025 edition took place from 23–27 April in Gorizia (IT) / Nova Gorica (SI), a cooperation agreement was signed between Aerowaves and the National Institute of Music and Dance (NIMiT).
As part of this collaboration, representatives of the network will take part in the Polish Dance Platform 2026 and will also produce recordings and documentation of the event within the ON RECORD collection.
Each “album” in this collection is a compilation of written and audio materials prepared by the Aerowaves/Springback team. This collection of different perspectives and interpretations gives the live event a creative afterlife.
Aerowaves is a European network that supports the most promising choreographic artists. Each year, 46 partners from 34 countries select 20 of the most interesting choreographic works from across Europe. The 2025 programme featured 21 performances from 17 countries – selected from over 700 applications!
Dominik Więcek / Sticky Fingers Club were selected with their work ‘Glory Game’ in 2025.
The Spring Forward Festival 2025 was part of the official programme of the European Capital of Culture 2025 – Nova Gorica–Gorizia.
