My Tail and I

Interactive dance performance for families with children 3+ y.o. A long time ago, pre, before, a fang peeled off the mesoderm. And on it trudged, among the stars, one vertebra at a time. The spongy dice has been cast, in the fascia now it dwells, bound together by durameter, which tenderly frames its body. The conical tip sets off to dance, and along comes the leg. My Tail and I is the latest production of the acclaimed independent dance collective Holobiont, comprised of Polish female artists working in the field of experimental choreography for families. Addressed to families with children over 3 years of age, the performance offers a humorous and young audience-friendly take on the history of evolution (with the human tailbone as one of its remnants). During the event, the artists invite the participant families to join in on a movement interplay with the performers and unleash the creative energy that often lies dormant in our tails.

wstecz Rocznik 1982. tancerka, choreografka, performerka, instruktorka tańca współczesnego, trenerka biznesu, filolożka. Od ponad dekady prowadzi regularne zajęcia z tańca współczesnego i improwizacji, gimnastykę dla seniorów oraz tworzy autorskie choreografie i jest aktywna na polskiej scenie tańca i performensu. Stypendystka Alternatywnej Akademii Tańca 2015 - 2017 realizowanej przez Art Stations Foundation by Grażyna Kulczyk, Intensive Course w School For New Dance Development w Amsterdamie oraz beneficjentka programu Global Practice Sharing w Movement Research w Nowym Jorku. Od 2007 związana z warszawskim Teatrem Mufmi Anny Piotrowskiej, gdzie aktualnie jest koordynatorem do spraw artystycznych i instruktorem. Zdobywczyni wielu nagród w konkursach choreograficznych (m. in. The Best Solo 2014 za solo I know№Thing na międzynarodowym festiwalu Solo& Duo w Budapeszcie) i tanecznych. Jej prace były prezentowane m. in. w Berlinie, Budapeszcie, Filadelfii, Nowym Jorku, Warszawie i Wiedniu. W 2017 roku wraz z Hanną Bylką-Kanecką założyła kolektyw Holobiont, którego celem są interdyscyplinarne projekty wielopokoleniowe. Jako freelancer współpracowała m.in. z: Rebeccą Lazier (There Might Be Others), Anną Godowską i Sławkiem Krawczyńskim (Bataille i świt nowych dni), Wojtkiem Grudzińskim (Rodos), Anną Piotrowską (R.O.Z.G.R.Y.W.K.A.), Iloną Trybułą (Piękno jak powietrze) czy Yoshiko Chumą (Dead end - Ponderosa). W swoich pracach bada granice między prostotą i naiwnością; prezentacją i facylitacją oraz znajdowaniem schematów i łamaniem ich. Aspekt wizualny oraz swoiste poczucie humoru są charakterystyczne dla jej prac. Na co dzień nieustannie szuka okazji do improwizacji. Jej ciało reaguje bardzo dobrze, kiedy może robić to, co lubi. ​
